Alex Munoz is a graduate student researcher at LOSH where he assists with the development and implementation of various HAZWOPER trainings.
Alex is a second-year master of industrial hygiene student at UCLA. He plans on pursuing a career as a certified industrial hygienist and create a safer and better workplace for workers in underrepresented communities. He believes that occupational safety and health is ensuring that every worker goes home at the end of the day as healthy, or healthier, than when they went in. This should apply to every worker regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, or immigration status.
Outside of work and school, Alex enjoys watching sports, working out, and hanging out with his friends, family, and dogs.
