Fabiola Montiel is the health and safety educator/coordinator at LOSH. She develops educational materials and leads workshops to strengthen the capacity of a community-based network of organizations. She engages with workers, employers, and government agency representatives to inform them about worker protection from COVID-19 and other workplace hazards.
Fabiola has over a decade of experience in multicultural communication and organizational leadership. She has worked in prevention of gender-based violence, advocacy and policy change, early childhood systems change, and community transformation. Outside of the office, Fabiola enjoys traveling with her family and playing with her daughter.
Fabiola holds a master of arts in organizational leadership with a concentration in civic engagement from Claremont Lincoln University and a bachelor of arts in communication science from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.
