Roger Valencia Ricardez

Roger Valencia Ricardez is a student assistant at LOSH who translates documents to Spanish, creates infographics and flyers for social media. He is a psychology and political science double-major at UCLA. After graduation, he hopes to go to law school to become an immigration attorney or to pursue a master’s degree in psychology.

Growing up in Santa Ana, he always saw the needs in his community. As a result, it is a lifelong goal to advocate for his community and share resources with them. Occupational safety and health are important to him because it helps workers become healthier and educated instead of being exploited or put at risk in the workplace.

Outside of work, Roger enjoys learning from his community, gardening, taking care of his plants, and looking after his mental health.
