Southern California Coalition for Occupational Safety & Health (SoCalCOSH)
The Southern California Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (SoCalCOSH), advocates for safe, healthy, and secure jobs for all workers, and aims to disrupt the root causes of work-related injuries, illnesses, and fatalities.
National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON)
NDLON improves the lives of day laborers, migrants and low-wage workers. They build leadership and power among those facing injustice so they can challenge inequality and expand labor, civil and political rights for all.

Worker Centers and Community Organizations
The Institute of Popular Education of Southern California (IDEPSCA)
IDEPSCA’s mission is to create a more humane and democratic society by responding to the needs and problems of disenfranchised people through leadership development and educational programs based on Popular Education methodology.
LA Black Worker Center
The mission of the Los Angeles Black Worker Center is to increase access to quality jobs, reduce employment discrimination, and improve industries that employ Black workers through action and unionization.
The Warehouse Worker Resource Center (WWRC)
Warehouse Worker Resource Center is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), organization founded in 2011 dedicated to improving working conditions in the warehouse industry in Southern California. They focus on education, advocacy and action to change poor working conditions in the largest hub of warehousing in the country.
Esperanza Community Housing
Esperanza Community Housing Corporation is a social justice non-profit in South Central Los Angeles that achieves long-term, comprehensive community development.
Labor
Teamsters Local 396
Teamsters Local 396 represents UPS and Sanitation, and Genesis Logistics workers in Southern California. The Local Union also serves Members in other miscellaneous industries such as logistics, recycling and feed delivery services.
Teamsters 2010
Teamsters Local 2010 is the Union of 14,000 hard-working employees in California higher education. We are affiliated with the 1.4 million members of the Teamsters Union across the United States and Canada.
UFCW 770
UFCW 770 has bloomed into a force for good for workers across the state. Today, they stand 31,000 members strong, representing and advocating for workers in healthcare, retail health, grocery, packing and cannabis.

The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS)
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is expanding and accelerating its contributions to scientific knowledge of human health and the environment, and to the health and well-being of people everywhere
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
With the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Congress created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.
Commission on Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation (CHSWC)
CHSWC is a joint labor-management body created by the workers‘ compensation reform legislation of 1993. CHSWC is charged with examining the health and safety and workers’ compensation systems in California and recommending administrative or legislative modifications to improve their operation.
Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)
The mission of DTSC is to protect California’s people and environment from harmful effects of toxic substances by restoring contaminated resources, enforcing hazardous waste laws, reducing hazardous waste generation, and encouraging the manufacture of chemically safer products.

Arizona State University Fulton Schools of Engineering Environmental & Resource Management Program
Program offers hands-on projects and coursework for students seeking to understand the scientific and technological aspects of byproducts, environmental health, sustainability and natural resource conservation.
University of California, Berkeley Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP)
LOHP promotes safe, healthy, and just workplaces and builds the capacity of workers and worker organizations to take action for improved working conditions.
University of Washington Northwest Center for Occupational Health & Safety
The Northwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety at the University of Washington offers financial support to graduate students preparing for careers in occupational health and safety, and continuing education for practitioners in the field.
