Lakshmi Jimenez is a Student Assistant at LOSH, where she supports the organization’s mission by assisting with training preparation and organizing materials.

Lakshmi is a first-generation college student in her second year at UCLA, pursuing a degree in Psychology on the pre-health track. Lakshmi is deeply committed to health equity and addressing social disparities that impact marginalized communities. As the daughter of two hardworking Mexican immigrant parents, she views occupational safety and health as a way to uphold dignity and protect the well-being of workers, who are essential to the community.

Outside of work, Lakshmi enjoys playing her flute, going on long walks, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
