Sarah Beth Stein

Sarah Beth Stein is a Graduate Student Researcher at LOSH. She primarily conducts data analysis for LOSH research projects and writes content for the LOSH blog.

Sarah is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Community Health Sciences. Sarah’s research focuses on precarious employment and its health-related consequences, particularly among immigrant workers in Los Angeles. She hopes to pursue a career in academic research and policy related to worker justice and health. To her, occupational safety and health means supporting workers’ resilience in the face of emerging challenges, as well as leveraging workers’ social and personal resources to build power within and outside of the workplace.

Outside of work and dissertation writing, Sarah enjoys running, hiking with friends, doing crossword puzzles, and going to the movies.
