Alejandro Caldera is a Student Assistant at LOSH. He is in charge of entering data collected on trainings conducted over the western region for the Western Region Universities Consortium (WRUC). 

Alejandro is working on finishing his bachelor’s degree at UCLA with a Labor Studies major and Accounting minor. After graduation, he hopes to work in accounting or finance for a non-profit or an organization that improves the community. 

Working in the food industry for the past four years, Alejandro has seen firsthand several health and safety violations. Because of this, Alejandro recognizes the importance of occupational safety and health for educating workers on their rights. 

Outside of work, Alejandro enjoys baking, concerts, and watching reality TV competition shows.
