Evelyn Mejia

Evelyn Mejia is the Finance and Operations Analyst at LOSH. She oversees day-to-day operations, provides logistical and financial support, and serves as the program’s main point of contact. She also coordinates special events and manages the software, equipment, and other electronic resources for LOSH staff and programs.

Evelyn is passionate about community-driven urban planning and environmental justice and is committed to advancing environmental health and social justice for all workers. Her interests stem from her upbringing in an urban neighborhood facing housing inequalities and health disparities along with her working-class, immigrant family background. She plans to continue to combat urban and health inequalities to support underrepresented communities.

Outside of work, Evelyn enjoys traveling and splurging on beauty products. She earned her bachelor’s degree in urban studies with a minor in psychology and social behavior from UC Irvine.
