Jimmy Gausin
Jimmy Gausin is a Student Assistant at LOSH. He creates social media content and assists with training preparation by doing data entry, editing and compiling documents, transcribing notes, and translating educational materials.
Jimmy is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Political Science and Labor Studies. After graduating, he would like to attend law school. He is motivated to go into law because immigration law and immigration policies have been a large part of his life. With a law degree, he would like to help people in similar situations as his family and be a part of the continuing movement to reform immigration law in the US. Occupational safety and health means keeping people and workers safe from the cruelty of the US healthcare system. He is aware of how harmful the consequences of workplace injury or employer negligence can be to workers’ lives and would like to help minimize worker suffering.
Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys practicing and competing in archery, dancing bachata, and sewing.
