LOSH contributes to the workplace health and safety field through an extensive array of education and training programs, publications, and community-based research that promote worker health and safety, particularly among those most at risk – young workers and new immigrants who work around hazardous materials. Our current initiatives include the major projects featured on this site: HAZWOPER, WOSHTEP, IIPP, OHIP, and WRUC, among many others.
In addition, LOSH is supported by a number of smaller grants and contracts from federal and state agencies, university initiatives, foundations, and through labor-management fee-for-service agreements. We can also respond to requests for assistance on worker health and safety training outside these funded projects. Please use our contact form to send us your request.
