Roselynn Hernandez
Roselynn Hernández is a Program Assistant at LOSH. She provides support for LOSH’s Worker Occupational Safety and Health Training and Education Program (WOSHTEP) and other initiatives. Roselynn holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from UC Irvine with an emphasis on Sociocultural Diversity and Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Chicanx Studies from UC Berkeley.
During the Summer of 2022, she participated in the Occupational Health Internship Program (OHIP) with the Tenayuca Labor Project, where she interviewed immigrant workers in Orange County’s restaurant industry to better understand their working conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Roselynn’s career interests lie in empowering immigrant workers and advocating for their safety, which stems from her immigrant family background.
Outside of the office, Roselynn enjoys supporting small businesses and artists of color, playing basketball, and writing poetry. She has published a poem with Varrio Voices, in their 2021 national poetry anthology, and hopes to continue exploring this creative side. To decompress, she enjoys indulging in the sounds of smooth soul, reggae, hip hop, regional Mexican music, and cumbias.
