Disaster Project Coordinator
LOSH is hiring a Project Coordinator to oversee LOSH training initiatives designed to promote hazard awareness, skills building and resiliency for workers engaged in environmental disaster response and recovery efforts and those facing severe climate-related hazards. The Project Coordinator supports training and program development efforts under several grant-funded projects for both English- and Spanish-speaking audiences.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience with project coordination (Required)
- Minimum 3-5 years experience leading worker/adult training in English and/or Spanish. (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of occupational safety and health principles and policies, adult education principles with a commitment to advancing workplace safety and health, climate change and environmental hazards, and/or environmental justice issues. (Required)
- Familiarity with systems for disaster response and recovery, including formal emergency response frameworks (i.e., Incident Command System) and/or community-based emergency response approaches. (Required)
